Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their growing Financial Services Tax team. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality tax advice and compliance services, responding efficiently to client demands and deadlines.

• Take an active role in client meetings and confidently respond to technical queries.

• Review tax computations and returns to ensure accuracy and timeliness, while managing risk.

• Ensure all internal procedures and compliance standards are met, including client onboarding processes.

• Supervise work in your area of expertise and support more junior team members.

• Identify and propose solutions to technical tax issues across a variety of financial services clients.

• Share knowledge openly and contribute to the development of the wider team.

• Keep up to date on technical and industry developments through regular training.

• Participate in business development efforts by supporting the promotion of the firm’s services to both existing and potential clients.

About You

• ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.

• Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in financial services tax.

• Strong technical tax knowledge with a solutions-focused approach.

• Experience in Asset Management and/or Insurance sectors is a strong advantage.

• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Passion for mentoring and developing junior team members.

• Ambitious, commercially aware, and eager to grow your career within practice.
